About the V-Preca

  • What is the validity of the V-Preca card?

    • The V-Preca is valid for one year following acquisition, and may be used up until the last day of the month of expiration. One month prior to the expiry date, an email will be sent reminding you that the expiry date is approaching.

The expiry date is displayed in the following format: “Month/Year”.
For example, 07/12 means that the card is valid until “July 2012”.

※Please note: following expiry, it will not be possible to use the card, even with a balance available.

  • What is the maintenance fee for inactive cards?

    • Following a period of three months without using the V-Preca, counted from the date of issue of the card or from the date of last use, a monthly amount of ¥125 will be charged (sales tax included) on the 25th day of the following month, as an inactive card maintenance fee.
※The amount charged will not exceed the available balance on the card.
※This fee will not be charged if the available balance on the card is zero.

Should the card remain inactive, the inactive card maintenance fee will be charged monthly until the available balance is zero. In order to halt the charging of this fee, the card must be used or the balance must be cleared with another card by the 24th day of the month, i.e. one day before the day the fee is charged.
※The charging of the inactive card maintenance fee will recommence should the card remain inactive again for a three month period.

  • When I enter the V-Preca issue code, an error occurs, and the card is not issued.

    • The V-Preca issue code is composed of a combination of 20 characters, as specified below. Please enter the characters, paying close attention to the order and the type of letter.

      ◇Roman alphabet → upper case letters with half-width characters (Correct: A Incorrect: a, A, a)
      ◇Number →Half-width (Correct: 1 Incorrect: 1).
      ◇Hiragana → Full-width

※Symbols or spaces may not be used.
※Each character is rigorously differentiated by type, width (half or full), upper case and lower case. Even if the order of the characters is correct, should the type be different, an error will occur.
